There has been lots of talk of who will be the new companion to the Doctor in series five, many people are wanting Jenny to fill the role. The Sun newspaper have published that she will be in one of the 2009 specials, although they are rarely accurate in providing details for upcoming seasons.

Admitedly, recent Doctor Who news suggests that Jenny's return is unlikely. In her first and only appearance the age gap, though considerable, was still small between Moffett and Tennant. Now, however, when the Tenth Doctor regenerates into his Eleventh incarnation (played by Matt Smith) the age gap between "father and daughter" will be less than two years and it seems unlikely that the producers of Doctor Who would wish to offput the audience by attempting to forge a father-daughter relationship onscreen between two actors nearly matched in age.
