| I actually don't want to contribute any quotes (or at the most very rarely). But I do want to make this an inclusive system, where anyone can add the quotes. Nomination is the only real system that can work fairly (hence the nominations page). As I said there is the very likely possibility that after the first week or three there will only be a handful of quotes to choose from with only a few people voting.
| |
| Being able to plan a few weeks ahead means we can plan, possibly for themes, or even to tie into the feature / spotlight article (or not).

| Also of note, I have thus far held back from blocking you (according to our vandalism page I should have taken action after the second or third page blanking and the first threat). But you're a good editor, which is why, rather than blocking I protected the main page. As I hoped to work this out, calmly. You can also see everything that has happened, including the log of the protection on the [[Special:Recentchanges]]. The protection prevents anyone but admins from editing the main page. --[[User:Tangerineduel|Tangerineduel]] 14:58, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

| ==How to vote for a quote==
| |
| I've just added this text to the project page:
| |
|
| |
| :''To vote add the number of the quote you are voting for in '''BOLD''''' and your signature. For example '''2''' - <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>
| |
| :''Votes for a particular week must come from that week's nominations.''
| |
|
| |
| Also I just wanted to inform you before I do it, in case you want to move some quotes out. The unsorted nominations section was just for use while I was moving the quotes pages around, if you want to copy the quotes out or something (I thought I'd just tell you). It'll probably be replaced with 'Previous Quote of the Week' section so we can keep track of the quotes. --[[User:Tangerineduel|Tangerineduel]] 15:28, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
