When the text on a page starts immediately after the final pair of braces in the Infobox, it throws off the spacing in between the first and second paragraph, making it look like someone put in a '''<nowiki><br></nowiki>''' instead of a blank line.
Here's the "diff" of the edit I just made that shows all I did was move the first paragraph down one line so it's not on the same line as the end of the Infobox: [http://tardis.wikia.com/index.php?title=Rose_Tyler&diff=1799284&oldid=1782789 Rose Tyler].
If you go to the previous edit on November 30, the first two paragraphs look like this:
::: ... Rose seemed destined for a life as a retail worker.<br> Instead, the Doctor blew up her workplace ...
After dropping the first paragraph down away from the Infobox, it looks like this:
::: ... Rose seemed destined for a life as a retail worker.
::: Instead, the Doctor blew up her workplace ...
The spacing between the paragraphs now matches the rest of the paragraphs.
I have looked through the code of the Infobox and I can't figure out what's causing this. Any ideas? —[[User:RRabbit42|RRabbit42]] (<small>[[User talk:RRabbit42|leave a message]]</small>) 15:34, December 16, 2014 (UTC)
