Shortly after the ship crashed, Harvey went out and froze to death, with the cold perfectly preserving his body and the [[Nanogene|nanocloud]] converting his corpse into a [[Dalek puppet]]. A year later, he showed the [[Eleventh Doctor]] and  [[Amy Pond|Amy]] to his ship. His crew, last he remembered, were still alive, but were found dead upon re-entering the ''Alaska'', and, while initially shocked, Harvey eventually remembered that he, too, was dead. At this point, his Dalek programming became active, and he attacked the Doctor and his companions, only to be fended off by a [[fire extinguisher]] and locked inside a storage space.
