: It also increased awareness of how serious Prisoner Zero's warning about silence falling was, when Venice ends up completely empty for no reason. For the first time, no cracks were featured; unlike The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone, which was a two-parter, this episode had no visual crack. However, Rosanna mentions that the Saturnyians got to Venice through one, which snapped shut behind them. | |||
Heavily rewrote this paragraph in the lead anyway, but is there anything based on those few seconds which substantiates Venice being completely empty, or is it just the area where the TARDIS is parked? Especially when the TARDIS is parked outside of the gates and all we see is a brief shot of one empty stall as everything goes quiet. -- Tybort (talk page) 15:48, January 22, 2015 (UTC) |
