It is stated in the article that a confession dial can be used as in the manner decipted in recent Doctor Who episode, to profuce a confession from a subject by means of exposing them to their deep fears, also stating that the subject will be released upon confessing to the matter about which he is interrogated. | |||
While it ia true that it indeed what weve seen in the episodes, I dont think we can assume that the altered/manipulated confession dial would always operate in the same way- for instance, used to elicit a confession by use of fears. | |||
I think that while we can and should use the instance of the dial being used against the doctor ad an example of a dial doing something different than originally intended, we must not put it in a way that seems as if it is how it always it, because we cannot know that for sure, but rather provide as an example of such use.
