Discontinuity, Plot Holes, Errors
* Salamander is sucked into space when the TARDIS dematerializes with the doors open. This contradicts The Edge of Destruction, The Runaway Bride, The Stolen Earth and other episodes in which the TARDIS is shown in space with its doors open, with no ill-effects to the occupants. In all those cases, however, the TARDIS is stationary, in this case it is in motion - therefore more dangerous That still doesn't explain about when Jack Harkness clung on to the outside of the TARDIS. That's because Jack is a fixed point in time and space; even the harsh environment of the Time Vortex couldn't kill him. The TARDIS is sentient and has been known to have a mind of its own from time to time. Perhaps it chose to protect the Doctor's friends. That still doesn't explain what happened in Planet of the Giants. pehaps the doctor added some safety measures or changed the cercetry slitely to make sure it did not happen agein.

Promotional trailer for Web of Fear
* Episode 6 of The Enemy of the World ends with a trailer promoting the next story, The Web of Fear. The trailer featured specially shot footage of the Doctor in the London Underground talking to the audience about the impending return of the Yeti in the next story, before fleeing as said creatures begin chasing him. As Episode 6 is one of those that are no longer in the BBC Archives, this unique trailer is also considered lost although the audio survives. A fan-made computer animated recreation of the trailer exists and has been circulated on YouTube.
