We'll look at it some more over the coming days and weeks, but when you count up the number of infractions and imagine a situation where each one had been separately and progressively punished, you get to a year pretty quickly. It doesn't ''feel'' like an outrageous length. But I'm not saying we can't still talk about this, obviously. So please continue to leave messages if you have more say. :) {{user:CzechOut/Sig}}{{User:CzechOut/TimeFormat}} 07:05: Mon 02 Jan 2017</span> | We'll look at it some more over the coming days and weeks, but when you count up the number of infractions and imagine a situation where each one had been separately and progressively punished, you get to a year pretty quickly. == ''Class'' on front page ==
The hugely staggered release of ''Class'' globally is likely the main cause of our somewhat muted coverage of it. I haven't even seen the thing yet, to be honest -- and I'm sure there are other users who are still awaiting the BBCA release. I'm guessing that this chasm between US and UK release dates has meant there wasn't a great deal of pressure to celebrate it in a more overt way -- as on our front page.
Practically speaking, too, the PSD for creating new bubbles has gone missing, making the creation of a new one more problematic.
Still, it was more just "a thing that didn't happen" than some kind of effort to suppress. Our ''mobile'' front page does feature some elements from the programme, thanks to admin who ''were'' already able to (legally) see it. Also, [http://fandom.wikia.com/articles/doctor-whos-class a Fandom article] was written about it, and we tweeted about the programme, both of which drove some traffic to us.
Ironically, though, by the time that ''Class'' finally drops in the US, it'll be overshadowed by S10's premiere. At that point, the bubbles will probably be entirely popped, and we'll have to reconsider the dubiously-effective Transmat strategy. {{user:CzechOut/Sig}}{{User:CzechOut/TimeFormat}} 08:18: Mon 02 Jan 2017</span> |
