:I think she should be considered a one story companion of the twelfth (as she took the role of his companion in the Zygon two-parter). She shouldn't be considered a companion in the Death in Heaven episode though as she didn't travel with the Doctor. ::The Doctor seems pretty definitive, though. She's not his companion. "I'm ideal material. It's just that my work here on Earth is too important."
::The Doctor [[The Zygon Inversion (TV story)|offered]] to take her with him and Clara in their travels. "Do you want to come?" She replied, "More than anything. But I think I have to stay."
::Is the argument being made that she was briefly a companion in the Zygon stories? But then why isn't Kate a companion, for example, as well? The companion in those stories is still Clara. Osgood is a recurring character, but I don't think the Doctor's companion.{{User:SOTO/sig}} 19:10, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
