On Earth, Gabby's family is arguing whether to attend the Day of the Dead celebrations at the Green-Wood Cemetery. Miguel is spooked by the empty streets and strange roaming people, but they promised Ricardo Mendoza to come, so Miguel, Maria, Blanca and a younger boy leave for the celebrations, taking back streets just in case.
