Skonnan: Difference between revisions

The '''Skonnans''' were a race of [[humanoid]]s from [[Skonnos]], first seen in ''[[The Horns of Nimon]]''. They are virtually indistinguishable to [[human]]s. They used to have a massive empire, controlling hundreds of [[planet]]s, but there was a massive civil war and the empire collapsed. This caused the death of nearly of the scientists and men of learning, which left the military to control [[Skonnos]]. This also lead to the decay of most of [[Skonnos]]' technology, leaving them with a broken down star ship fleet.

Eventually, the Skonnans were discovered by the [[Nimon]], who promised them a new empire in exchange for sacrifices of living beings and [[hymetrusite]]. They gathered these sacrificfies from [[Aneth]], an old subject of the Skonnan Empire. Though [[Skonnos]] and its new leader [[Soldeed]] obeyed the [[Nimon]]'s will, the [[Nimon]] were eventually killed and their [[Black hole]] generator was destroyed.
