I've long awaited a possible new story involving the Valeyard, especially since we've been approaching his supposed time of appearance. (''"There is some evil in all of us, Doctor – even you. The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darker sides of your nature, somewhere between your twelfth and final incarnation, and I may say you do not improve with age."'' -The Master) For a long time up until The Day of the Doctor actually aired, I was under the impression that John Hurt might be playing the Valeyard, but that's clearly no longer the case. (Though the evidence was still there that it was possible.
