I've got nothing to base this on but The mighty Jagrafess sounds more like a name to me than a species. I thought perhaps the species was not mentioned and the Holy Hadrojassic Maxerodenfoe was some sort of empire or alien cult. I thought the editor called him Max simply because it was the only part of the long and alien name he could get to grips with.

That's why I was surprised to see that the Jagrafess apparently comes from the Jagrafessfold Breeding Grounds which suggests that the species is Jagrafess. I was hoping this wasn't the case because I was hoping to write a story about another of it's kind whom I was going to call The Glorious Golgomoth of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe but if Jagrafess is the species he'd have to be called the Jagrafess again I suppose.
