Meaning that sympathy for the devil is after [[The War Games]] and i guess [[The Night Walkers (comic story)]]? (i haven’t read all that). [[The Dark Path]] has the second doctor, which means it’s before the second doctor’s trial/regeneration. Sympathy for the devil is after the second doctor's trial which means it's after the dark path. So it’s not about the dark path specifically. It’s just that stuff before [[Spearhead from Space (TV story)]]/[[Sympathy for the Devil (audio story)]] takes place in both timelines... As the blurb i quoted earlier says, the David Warner/Sam Kisgart timeline is what would have happened if the third doctor hadn’t been UNIT’s scientific adviser.
