Hi! Glad that you asked. It's always easier to explain things to people who listen than to people who think they are right from the start. The real question you meant was: why did I delete the image. Because after the image was deleted, I hope you agree, there was no point keeping a reference to it on the page. The reasons are manifold. I only stated the most obvious one in the deletion summary: the image lacked a licence. Without such, it is impossible to determine whether the image is allowable under our policies (for instance, promotional images cannot illustrate story pages), nor whether it might be in violation of copyright. But that was not the only problem. The image was too narrow: the minimum is 420px, with the recommended width of at least 500px, whereas the image you uploaded was only 330px wide. The image was also portrait-style, which is disallowed except for book/magazine covers. I would recommend you to familiarise yourself with [[Help:Image cheat card]], [[Tardis:Guide to images]] and [[Tardis:Image use policy]] for starters.
