You wrote: "the clown is now blocked". According to Oxford Dictionary, the only fitting meaning of the word clown is "a foolish or incompetent person". This is a clear personal attack (see [[Tardis:No personal attacks]]).
To answer your other question, unless you know for a fact that another user is fine with a particular abbreviation of their name, you should always use the full username.
And while we're at it, please, in the future refrain from instructing admin whom they should block and how fast, as well as how quickly they should respond to your complaints. At least two admin had to clean the mess after your edit war. The reason for the block was supplied with the block itself. Don't expect any more time wasted on your feud.
