Colchester Evening News: Difference between revisions

The main story was the poisoning of a fellow Britain's Got Talent contestant by a local teenager. According to the paper, the pair of rival [[singer]]s didn't believe there was room for both of them in the show, and what began as mild mannered backstage sniping soon turned into something much more serious.

Contestant [[Josie-D]] was accused by Nina of buying similar clothes, leading to the girls wearing strikingly similar outfits in the early stages of the competition. In the final stages, rumours were rife of Nina's drug habit and Josie-D's liberal attitude towards relationships. Their rivalry escalated when Josie-D developed a [[throat infection]]. Nina claimed Josie wasn't ill at all and was simply trying to excuse a poor performance, and in return Josie claimed Nina had tampered with her medication before that Saturday's show, adding household [[bleach]] to the [[throat spray]].
