For the last time, off-screen comments are *not valid sources*. How the "two outcomes" fit together in-universe has *not* been shown in any valid source. Yes, they sometimes take a long time, but start a forum thread or stop.
(I don't know how to start forums, at least ones that don't get ignored. And Davies joint comments about it "being true" and "glimpse of parallel events" point to it being a diffrent, though valid, way the Time War would have gone if not for Karn)

Line 1: Line 1:
In one outcome to the Last Great Time War, an unnamed saviour gave her life for the Eighth Doctor at the very end of the conflict: he saw her skeleton crumbling to dust right before he destroyed Gallifrey using the Moment. After doing so, he initially believed that using the Moment had made his existence fixed, preventing him from ever regenerating again; however, as he began to regenerate into his ninth incarnation, he realised that in her last kiss, she had passed on the Restoration to him, thereby "resetting his life cycle" and saving him one last time. In another outcome, however, these events did not take place before the War Doctor's theft of the Moment from the Omega Arsenal. The War Doctor was also not surprised when he started regenerating into the Ninth Doctor. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)

In another account, however, these events did not take place before the Doctor's theft and use of the Moment, as it was instead the War Doctor, alone, who stole the Moment from the Omega Arsenal; upon becoming the Ninth Doctor, the War Doctor then muttered "Of course" to himself, not appearing surprised that he was regenerating once more.
