If the Brigadier was born in 1930 (), then how is it he's over 100 in 2010 at Benny's wedding? () Tardis1963 03:53, January 15, 2010 (UTC)
If the Brigadier was born in 1930, then how is it he's over 100 in 2010 at (Benny's wedding?) Tardis1963 03:53, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

:He's also clearly around 80, not 100, when Sarah Jane meets him in 2009. So, how could he be 21 years older the following year?

:Well, there's time travel in the Whoniverse. The Brig's already been involved in a bit of time-travel-related madness in Mawdryn Undead, and the Doctor has actually twisted the flow of time just to attend the Brig's wedding. And in the new series, we have hints that UNIT's been experimenting with time-travel technology. I believe he's also traveled around in space at relativistic speeds in some spinoff or other, which means his age wouldn't match even without any time travel. And then of course there's the whole UNIT dating issue--we're talking about a man who we saw working for UNIT from 1975 to 1981, only to retire in 1976. Even if you toss out the Virgin novels and other spinoffs from continuity, there's still plenty of timey-wimey around the guy. --Falcotron 11:19, April 26, 2010 (UTC)
