Unrelated to the block, but also important, [[Tardis:Deletion policy#Blanking articles|don't blank an article]]. Not if it needs deletion. But specially, as you did at <nowiki>[[Calapians]]</nowiki>, which merely needed renaming. Preserving the edit history of articles is essential to the functioning of the wiki. In the future, just add a {{tlx|Speedy rename}} to the page (which was already present at the time of your blanking) and wait until an admin does the moving. == Markarian image ==
Hello! Just dropping in to elaborate on my having replaced [[:File:Markarian.png|your image]] at "[[Markarian]]" with [[:File:Markarian.jpg|another]]. As you seem to be a recent addition to the ranks of Tardis Wiki editors, it's quite understandable you wouldn't know about this yet, but from one editor to another: this Wiki has a rather [[Tardis:Image use policy|complicated]] and [[:Category:Image policies|numerous]] host of [[Help:Image cheat card|policies]] for what images you can upload and how, which I'd recommend you read through. (Rassilon knows it took ''me'' a while to get used to them, but most of these rules ''are'' there for good reason.)
In this case, your image was in PNG rather than JPG format, it was higher than it was wide, and it was over 100ko in size. Good job on the to-the-point filename, though. A lot of new users get ''that'' wrong as well — and you didn't!
Again, I am not an admin, and even if I were, you wouldn't be in trouble for a first offence like this, I should think. 's just a friendly heads-up. --[[User:Scrooge MacDuck|Scrooge MacDuck]] [[User talk:Scrooge MacDuck|<span title="Talk to me">☎</span>]] 18:14, May 7, 2020 (UTC)
