It is ''very hard'' to tell any kind of narrative ''anything'' that does ''not'', and you're being very weird, whatever else may or may not be the case, in continuing to insist on this even though it's obviously not true. The narrative of "the Monk was listening to some music, then grew unsatisfied with it and decided to try and fix it, then gave up and went off to listen to some LPs" presents a clear beginning, middle and end.
