However, he sabotaged the execution machine so that she was knocked unconscious instead of being killed. After swearing an oath to guard Missy's "body" for a thousand years, the Doctor scared the executioners away and had [[Nardole]] place her inside a [[The Vault (The Pilot)|Quantum Fold Chamber]]. While inside the Vault, Missy began reading up on how women were treated by history, and decided to help inspire a select group of women to rise against their male oppressors with a [[Spacebook]] group chat. However, the Doctor, thinking Missy was plotting an elaborate escape by messing with history, infiltrated the chat with the username "[[Circe]]" and dismantled Missy's leadership of the women.
