Who Killed Kennedy (novel): Difference between revisions

Before James can pull the trigger there is a knock at the door. The hotel owner gives him a piece of paper left by the Doctor with a number to reach him, asking James to call him immediately. James does and answers all the Doctor's questions. The Doctor realizes over the course of the questioning that the Master is putting his plan to destabilize the time-space continuum into action using Cleary and other brainwashed UNIT soldiers to either assassinate key figures in [[Earth|Earth's]] history or else change history in unpredictable ways. He instructs James to use the [[Time Ring]] that he took from Cleary to go back in time and stop him from doing whatever the Master instructed him to do, which seems to be to prevent the assassination of U.S. president John F. Kennedy. James does so and arrives in Dallas on November the 22nd, 1963.
