While travelling with the [[Ninth Doctor]] and [[Rose Tyler]], Jack saw the transmission on the [[The Doctor's TARDIS|TARDIS]]'s scanner, but wasn't able to remember sending it.

The Doctor recognised Gharusa Prime because of a skyscraper in the background of the video, the [[Delamar Solar-Needle]]. Therefore, they went to Gharusa Prime to investigate the origins of the message and discover why Jack couldn't remember sending it.
Upon arrival, the trio were immediately confronted by ''[[Doctor Who?]]'', a show based on the Ninth Doctor and acted by [[Slist Fayflut Marteveerthon Slitheen]]. While the genuine Doctor was arrested for identity theft, Slist was mistaken for the Doctor by the [[Raxas Alliance]] and brought to [[Clix]], taking an unconscious Rose with her.
