Arthur Lakesmith led a rebellion against the [[Overseer (Killing Ground)|Overseer]]s in [[2175]], and later, against the [[CyberNomad]]s in [[2176]]. During the battle against the [[Cybermen]], Arthur shot a Cyberman that nearly killed [[Ben Taggart]], before forcing the latter to accompany him back inside [[Population Control]], intending to detonate a makeshift [[bomb]] in the complex's control centre, thereby destroying Population Control and potentially the [[Cyber-Scout craft (Killing Ground)|Cyber-Scout craft]]. However, inside Population Control, Arthur and Ben were ambushed by more Cybermen, one of which punched through a wall and grabbed Arthur; he attempted to fight it off, but the Cyberman began breaking his [[arm]]s.
