Yaz is able to defeat the Sontarans by opening one of the other doorways, which unleash death rays that kill the Sontarans. When Dan, Yaz, Jericho with Williamson help trying run away from other Sontarans, who show up later, they went through various doors and finally get to one door, who marked as "5th December- Far Future - 2021". Then met [[Kate Stewart]], who is leading a resistance against the Sontaran invasion, scans Dan and Yaz and discovers that they have been in the Tardis.
