: I was not there for the initial LEGO Dimensions inclusion debate, but I know it was ruled invalid mostly because there's no one way to play it. However in the case of the game and relevant webcasts, I'd say there is also an argument to be made that the ''Doctor Who'' universe seen in LEGO Dimensions isn't ''the'' [[DWU]], and so this fails rule 4 of [[T:VS]]. Mostly because while the DW content is indeed true to the source material and could ostensibly be in the DWU, almost all the other IP's drastically differ their source materials; they're definitely not supposed to be the same universes we see in the original media. But, that's something probably better discussed in a forum post, if necessary. :: Regarding [[Thread:176459|the debate]], the ultimate cause of invalidity was Rule 1, not Rule 4. And with the webcast, it doesn't matter that it's not set in the other universes of the characters who appeared in it, it matters if it's set in the '''DWU'''. Take the ''Star Trek'' crossover - the expanded universe stories for ''Star Trek'' aren't set in the prime universe, as the IP owners said they weren't '''canonical''', but that has no effect about the ''Doctor Who'' side of things.
