Sara herself succumbed to the effects, ageing to death in moments, as the jungle around them withered. The Doctor finally collapsed outside the TARDIS and was helped to safety by Steven. From within the ship they watched as the Destructor continued to devastate Kembel, killing the Daleks frantically trying to destroy it and reducing the landscape to a wasteland.
