In [[1889]], Robert and Eliza traced the [[Chronal signature|chronal signiture]] left by the [[Tenth Doctor]]'s [[The Doctor's TARDIS|TARDIS]]. The signature was notably the same as detected in [[1983]] at [[Krakatoa]] and during [[The Gabriel Chase Affair|the Gabriel Chase affair]] in [[Perivale]]. They worked out that the TARDIS had been dragged away by [[horse]] and [[cart]] and deduced that it meant the machine wasn't currently operational and the Doctor was stranded in [[London]]. It wasn't long before they encountered the Doctor, [[H. G. Wells]] and [[Jonathan Smith]], and gave chase ordering them to stop in the name of the [[Torchwood Institute]]. The pair captured H. G.
