Hey, I just noticed that it looks like [[User:FANDOM]] isn't welcoming new users and hasn't been since 2020. I manually did so for the last week of users who didn't have a talk page created. But I think this is causing some issues (eg [[User talk:Sum41Champ]]), since our policies aren't always super easy to understand, and I don't think people are going to just randomly search out the wiki rules. Heya! For the Fandom bot, unfortunately functionality for that stopped when UCP was introduced and message walls switched to using the Discussions interface. There is a workaround whereby using [https://dev.fandom.com/wiki/AutoCreateUserPages this Dev script], you can auto create userpages. You can possibly make a template - such as <code><nowiki>{{newusers}}</nowiki></code> and place welcome message content there. The user wouldn't receive an alert, but would be visible when coming to edit their userpage.
