1966 Dalek invasion of Earth: Difference between revisions

The newly [[Regeneration|regenerated]] [[Fourteenth Doctor]] ([[TV]]: ''[[The Power of the Doctor (TV story)|The Power of the Doctor]]'') received a distress signal from the [[The Doctor's TARDIS|TARDIS]] and arrived during the 1966 World Cup Final, searching the crowd whete hr group of four [[alien]] [[time tourist]]s. Their encounter was interrupted by the arrival of a [[Dalek flying saucer|flying saucer]] arrive above the Stadium, which unleashed a horde of [[Dalek]]s who began their attack by [[Extermination|exterminating]] the players on the field.  

With the royal box having been evacuated, the Doctor made his way there to get the Daleks' attention using his [[The Doctor's sonic screwdriver|sonic screwdriver]]. The [[Supreme Dalek (Liberation of the Daleks)|Supreme Dalek]] ordered his exterminaton so the Daleks abandoned their attack to converge on him instead, to the annoyance of the tourists who decided to travel to other parts of London and [[San Francisco]] to witness the Daleks invading and killing. At Wembley the Daleks pursued the Doctor out of the stadium to his TARDIS, which a saucer seized before he could enter. The Supreme ordered the Daleks not to engage in discourse with the surrounded Doctor, instead telling them to simply exterminate him.
