:::::Tangerineduel, my only concern is what happens on already existing pages. I don't like the thought of real world pages becoming a minefield of "this topic/actor is relevant to upcoming releases" signs. The subpages are a good idea, it's just finding where to put the links to them that's the problem. I know we have to find a comprimise, but we also need to acknowledge that people who want spoilers can just go looking for them, but once a spoilerphobe sees something spoilerish, that's it. Their only options are to look further for clarification, or have the possibility hanging over them. Or in the case of those who don't know about the audios, be left under a missaumption. Laura, Najawin, I'm not sure it even bears repeating, but I just still don't think it's accurate or fair to say that our readers will see the words "Richard Franklin is related to upcoming releases" and conclude that he must appear in an upcoming TV episode. It's one thing to say "We can't expect our readers to be familiar with our rules." It's another thing entirely to say "We can't expect our readers to understand words as written"! They may not be superfans, but that's no reason to think that they're actively illiterate. That said, this conversation is clearly going in circles, so I'll sit back and trust in the judgment of our admins; with any luck, time and twitter will tell who's right. – n8 (☎) 20:12, 30 January 2023 (UTC) | |||
