Oi! What's with the replacing "Lord Celestial" with "Lords Celestial" in infoboxes? That's thoroughly improper. There's only one Hermit (The Taking of Planet 5). He's not a "Lords Celestial", he's a singular Lord of the Celestis. If you have scruples about whether the singular form "Lord Celestial" occurs anywhere in the licensed corpus, I guess we can have that discussion, though I don't think I'd share the concern; but IMO the solution would be to just use "Celestis" in the infobox. The plural "Lords" in the infoboxes of individual characters is just bizarre. You wouldn't put "Time Lords" in the infobox of The Doctor! : I see. I thought that might be it. I think I disagree as a matter of interpretation, particularly given that individual Celestis are still called "Lord X" without scruple.
: But more to the point, I strongly disagree with the view that it's grammatically incorrect. Again, you would not say that the Doctor's species is "Time Lords". In terms of current practice, the |species= infobox field is always a grammatically singular form, whether it be the actual singular (e.g. Time Lord) or, more rarely, an uncountable collective like humanity (e.g. Boekind). An actual grammatically plural form — no.
: As I said, if you want to use the uncountable "Celestis", I'm fine with that. Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 17:40, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
