I don't know if this is just me over-speculating, but does anyone know the siginificance of the camera focusing on chickens throughout this episode, particularly towards the end? Then of course there's the throw-away line about the Doctor owing Casanova a chicken (a line I initially thought might be an in-joke between Smith and Tennant...)
