: I agree. Given that the vampire girls were the most prized assets, it seems strangely careless for their Mother to send them in as frontline fighters. Another thing: Why can't she just make more females? The loss of a few shouldn't be such a problem, unless there was some extreme time constraint that didn't get mentioned.
