: I think it was more the fact it was a physical bolt, not a "lock" per say. And the wood thing has confused me a bit, after all in the Eleventh hour when prisoner zero was in that room and the doctor locked it, he said sarcastically "they're all terrified of wood". I'm not too sure where we can draw the line with the whole "it doesn't do wood" part.
