I personally think that the new logo looks absolutely wonderful, and I don't ''really'' think that the Tardis variants are necessary. I think the Beep the Meep and Chistmassy Dalek variants look very nice as well, and would definitely support having them every once in a while (however, this would be a lot of effort, and it's perfectly understandable if people don't want to do this).
