Yeah, news articles are really sketchy to me, which is why I asked. :Yeah, your concerns are warranted, that's specifically why I specified a preference for self-reported pronouns where possible. It's just the simple fact is that many people who have pages on this wiki have not directly self-reported their pronouns and many cannot do so now, which leaves external reports like articles and biographies to fill in the gap. But if you think that would be too vulnerable to vandalism, I'm not gonna fight you on that, I still support having the pronouns field, but you have a lot more experience on this wiki than I do.
