"Groundbreaking" special effects is both untrue and overly specific unless you can give a source wherein a sizable set of fans think this. "Underdeveloped characters" is more specific than "poor characterization" and as such is editorializing, as is "slow-burning narratives" vs "slow pacing". Also, as a note, "retconning [the] Doctor's species" is not the same as "retconning [the] Doctor's Time Lord origin". The wiki is ''very'' specific as to how we refer to the Doctor's species in each context.
