:I think we’ve been over that before and came to the conclusion that using the year of transmission for each series would present people with the impression that there are multiple seasons in each year; i.e using "Series 2 (2006)" gives off the impression that there’s a "Series 1 (2006)" in addition to "Series 1 (2005)", and that is not the route we want to take. ::I want to further add that I think once again it’s a really bad idea to also just use the beginning year of transmission for each era… I am strongly against "Season 24 (1963)", Series 5 (2005)" etc. not to mention the abomination of calling Ncuti's first season "Season 1 (2023)" as it did not air in 2023.
