The TARDIS later reverted back to this design during the three years the ship was used by the [[Third Power]] to keep [[the Valley]] open. [[Cora (Morbius the Mighty)|Cora]] believed the TARDIS had done this due to her wanting the War Doctor to be who he used to be. When the War Doctor returned to the ship he was followed by [[Morbius]] and in their ensuing fight he inverted the TARDIS’ gravity and then shattered the scanner ceiling, expelling Morbius out of the TARDIS.
