Famed for its mineral rich rocks and soil, Plutonia 7 was the site of many invasion attempts, however, it's the aggressive of the planets native life consisting of giant insects, such as wasps and praying mantis, put off many possible invaders. In the 4203 the Daleks saw great potential in the strength of these creatures, aiming to enslave them and use them to mine metals from the centre of the planet, and use it to build a fleet of ships to help the Dalek's future invasion plans. Unfortanutely for the Daleks, they did not realise that the large exoskeletons of these creatures became extremely strong armour, even strong enough to resist Dalek firepower. Aside from wildlife, the planet was also home to dangerous giant carnivore plants. Which trapped the Daleks in their jaws, crushing their Dalekanium casing to devour the Kaled mutants inside. Although the Daleks inital force was totally defeated, suffering far more casualties then expected, the possibility of a second, stronger invasion, threatened the extraordinary planet. The Giant Wasps native to this planet may be the same species as the Giant Wasps controlled by the Quarks, (TVC: The Killer Wasps) the Quarks possibly saw the same potential in them that the Daleks did.
