He met [[Tenth Doctor|the Doctor]] with a tour of humans that were on their way to see the planet [[Midnight]]. On the way to the [[Sapphire Waterfall]], he showed slides of his research and scolded Dee Dee on her study of the [[Lost Moon of Poosh]]. As the [[Midnight Entity]] created chaos between the passangers, he questions The Doctor about who he is and insulted [[Dee Dee Blasco|Dee Dee]] by calling her "Average at best" of his students. (Meaning he may have picked her to seem smarter than everyone). Hobbes was left unscathed by the events on the shuttle bus, despite remaining resilient that nothing could be wrong.
