There doesn't seem to be much in the way of standards in this wiki for certain things, for example planet names - we have Metebelis III, but on the other hand we have Arcateen 5. Are there any official sources specifically stating that some planets are named in Roman numerals as opposed to others in Arabic? If so, I still think we need to come up with a standard from for planet names. 16:48, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

: Discrepancies abound, but I don't think we should change the planet names for convenience. Writers have chosen the names for whatever reason and their use within scripts/novels/sleeve notes etc would seem to reflect the Universal view that their is no consistency. Galaxy 4 / Galaxy Four being an example in point. Earth too has many names and I just think it would get confusing outside of this site if we didn't stick to convention. The Librarian 17:39, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Has there been any agreement on spelling. I would prefer UK spelling rather than US. This is afterall a British series. --Grafix 12:09, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

No I don't think there is any agreement on spelling. I do not think it matters unless it is spelled completely wrong. But I agree with you and it should be UK spelling. The End 1493 02:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
:The official policy is British English (or, as it has been termed on some pages, "English English") although use of American English is not too much of a problem, and I don't believe that there's any point in editing just to change the dialect. 14:56, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
