Due to the intensity of the battle, most of the crew couldn't make it to the emergency transmat station and were wiped out within the hour, leaving Jacobean the only survivor. The Daleks then turned the planet into a giant deep-freeze unit, in which they stored millions of captured aliens, frozen until the Daleks employed them in the Great War of the Rim Empires.
