The vortex manipulator can't be used as evidence of when in her timeline this takes place, as she could have had another vortex manipulator in the past, lost it, and obtained a new one from Dorium in ''The Pandorica Opens''. In her conversation with Amy and Rory, River didn't say anything about ''The Pandorica Opens'' or ''The Big Bang'', so it is possible that she just chose to ignore Amy and Rory talking about something that hadn't happened to her yet, to avoid spoilers.
