:::I'm going by what's on this wiki, not my own judgment here. There's an article called [[Alternate timeline]]; "Alternative timeline" exists only as a redirect to it, and the word "alternative" doesn't appear on the page. The lead sentence says "An alternate timeline is a reality which is different from a [[parallel universe]] in that…" That's why I said it's alternate, and that it's different from a parallel universe. Now, maybe that article (and the various related ones) are wrong and need to be fixed. But if so, that's a whole different issue from this one. Actually, two completely separate whole different issues. In fact, I'll start threads on them, so we can stop talking about them here.
