The '''Cthalctose''' were creatures that lived within a crystal sea on a planet designated [[16 Alpha Leonis One]]. They were an extremely long lived species; for instance a piece of performance art could last up to 300 years. At some point in their history, [[Earth]]'s [[The Moon|moon]] was their moon. Within it they placed a bio-forming device called [[Genesis of Cthalctose]] that, when activated, would planet-form the targeted planet to become like their homeworld (the process was often incorrectly termed as '[[terraform]]ing).
