Invading the ''Tiger Moth'', Steg encountered resistance by Captain [[Lisa Deranne]] and [[Kurt]]. Steg ordered the ship destroyed to kill the Rutan but Kurt and Lisa confronted him. Steg shot Kurt but was shot by Lisa, whom he had underestimated. He saluted her and warned her of the bomb. She threw it into the Sontaran pod the Rutan was trying to escape in.
