There are rumours of this referring to an upcoming death of the Doctor (with a possible new Doctor coming) or even the end of the Doctor Who Show. The second one has been confirmed as untrue as it is a fact that there are three specials AND another season still to come and the first one is probably false too as David Tennant will be playing the Doctor throughout 2008 and 2009.
